Block Party Hosted by Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital

Join Girl Scouts Nation's Capital for a free, high-energy block party at Franklin Park in the heart of downtown DC immediately following the National Bridging Ceremony! Whether you’re celebrating bridging or just looking to keep the excitement of the day going, all Girl Scouts Unite event attendees are welcome. Experience the spirit of the nation’s capital with live Go-Go music, a DJ, and interactive activities for all ages. You won’t want to miss it!

Franklin Park is located at 950 13th Street NW, Washington, DC 20005.

Please note that the park is located 4–5 blocks from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

Shuttle Service

Continuous shuttle service will be available between the convention center and Franklin Park for the Block Party.

• Hours: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• Four shuttles will operate in a continuous loop between the convention center and Franklin Park throughout the evening.
• Shuttles are expected to arrive approximately every 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic and passenger demand. Attendees may board any available shuttle during operating hours.
• The final shuttle departing Franklin Park (K Street NW) for the convention center will leave at approximately 10:00 p.m

Pick-Up Locations

• Convention Center: Board on L Street NW at the designated shuttle loading area. Look for event signage and transportation staff.
• Franklin Park: Board on K Street NW at the designated shuttle loading area for return service to the convention center.

Look for a Chariots for Hire shuttle displaying Girl Scouts event signage. Transportation staff will also be available to assist you.
