Information

The Northern Lakes Canoe Base is a wilderness tripping program that offers guided, outfitted canoe trips for Girl Scouts ages 12 and up, including adults! Girls may come alone or with a group for a 3-10 day canoe trip in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and the Quetico Provincial Park. NLCB has provided canoe trips since the 1960s and empowered generations of Girl Scouts. The base is operated by the Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin Lakes and Pines.

The Northern Lakes Canoe Base Alumni Association (NLCBAA) is a group of former and current staff of the Northern Lakes Canoe Base and their family and friends. Our experiences were life-changing and formative, and we are committed to sharing this incredible experience with next generations. We support the operations of the Canoe Base by our local council, Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin Lakes and Pines.
