Safe Sitter, Inc.

Safe Sitter, Inc. is a national nonprofit organization that offers programs throughout the country for home alone safety and babysitter training. Programs for students in grades 4–8 are available, and all programs feature easy-to-follow scripts for class discussions, engaging visual aids, and fun group activities.

Safe Sitter programs are a great way to offer instruction on life and safety skills, including injury prevention, first aid and rescue skills, and childcare. Safe Sitter programs can also help Girl Scouts meet requirements for their Independence Badge, Babysitting Badge, and First Aid Badge. Many programs, including Intro to Safe Babysitting, can be facilitated by troop leaders.
