Meet Susan Finta and Mallory Phillips, Park Rangers with Great Falls Park, one of 433 National Parks Sites across the country.

Girl Scouts will work together to complete activities focused on outdoor adventures which include learning about essential gear, how to know what to wear and not to wear, hiking and wildlife safety, exploring the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace, and gaining outdoor navigation skills by analyzing different trail maps to plan and prepare like a Park Ranger.

Girl Scouts will also learn about the National Park Service Girl Scout Ranger Program, where they can start earning hours towards their certificate and Scout Ranger Patch. Learn more at nps.gov.
