Home to the National Woman's Party (NWP) for more than 90 years, the Belmont-Paul Women’s Equality National Monument was the epicenter of the struggle for women's rights. From this house in the shadow of the U.S. Capitol and Supreme Court, Alice Paul and the NWP developed innovative strategies and tactics to advocate for the Equal Rights Amendment and equality for women. President Barack Obama designated the national monument on April 12, 2016.
Participants will receive a 19th Amendment patch.
*This event is limited to 75 attendees and available to registered participants of the 58th National Council Session and/or Girl Scouts Unite event. All children must be chaperoned. Transportation not included.

Schedule
Participants will be divided into three groups of up to 25 participants to rotate through three spaces in 30-40 minute blocks:
- House tour
- Library Activity – Zine workshop
- Terrace Activity – Protest signs and suffrage cats
