During this session, participants will get an exclusive sneak peek at the new Girl of the Year novel before it's released in September!
This story follows Daisy Davenport as she takes on sleepaway camp for the first time. From wanting to go home to never wanting to leave, Daisy must learn to live the Camp Gowonagin motto: Go on and try again!
Plus, you’ll hear from the author of Daisy’s story, Megan Wagner Lloyd, bestselling author of Allergic and Squished. The panel will also feature two Girl Scouts who know first-hand how to find courage during trying times…especially when no one is watching.
Then it’s your turn! You’ll be invited to share your own stories of bravery through the Courage Wall. Head over to the American Girl booth in the Hall of Experiences to keep the conversation going, explore the full American Girl world, and add your voice to the wall where it will live alongside the stories of girls just like you.
